For some reason, when I was doing the screen-caps for this series, the Redgrave one was the hardest to find! I had to transfer it from a local library's tape.Joel Bockohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11238338958380683893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7610074516299275060.post-7958981439170434152015-11-01T17:23:24.604-05:002015-11-01T17:23:24.604-05:00OMG...I remember watching "The Wind in the Wi...OMG...I remember watching "The Wind in the Willows" for the first time as a teenager. My 2 all time favorite versions are the Martin Gates version and the Disney version. Those two versions are always my favorite versions of the story itself^^Ayla M Sozundendonmezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11154862302867982418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7610074516299275060.post-6041745896582987382015-07-16T23:49:08.458-04:002015-07-16T23:49:08.458-04:00The ending is one of the rare areas were pretty mu...The ending is one of the rare areas were pretty much every adaptation has actually improved upon the original.Joel Bockohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11238338958380683893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7610074516299275060.post-87918248247571854842015-07-16T23:18:22.150-04:002015-07-16T23:18:22.150-04:00I enjoy the way Rankin/Bass went with the ending o...I enjoy the way Rankin/Bass went with the ending of Toad finding a new craze to be involved with than simply hang it up the way Grahame intended. Looking at the designs they appear to be using for the new show, I suppose I don't have much interest in it given the route they're going with (it's a kids thing), though I'll give them credit for wanting to expand on the original book with the additional characters.
http://kidscreen.com/2014/10/23/wind-in-the-willows-gets-tv-series-reboot/

A lot better than what Rankin/Bass once did for Saturday morning in the 70's (and another loose take on Badger as a Scotsman).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9hD17hjs9c
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SxBo9jeiPU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsnH1xEsbXs
Chris Sobieniakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09838106041175506925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7610074516299275060.post-36605487355197646932014-10-25T09:57:11.589-04:002014-10-25T09:57:11.589-04:00Good news.
