Lost in the Movies: #WatchlistScreenCaps, 8/13 - 8/27 (first-time features edition)

#WatchlistScreenCaps, 8/13 - 8/27 (first-time features edition)

Here are the last ten films I watched, with a screen-captured image and quick sentence on the subject. Unusually, every single film is a narrative feature I'd never seen before. Follow this feature on Twitter here, read about the kickoff here, and see all past #WatchlistScreenCaps here. Links below are to my post on the film in question.

  1. Just put A Safe Place on my Instant Queue. Now that The Constant Viewer is an ebook, I'm already plotting CVII. In the meantime, thanks for inviting us to get lost with you.

p.s. In the mean-meantime, I've revived my Netflix Instant Play Picks of the Moment site. As I've always said, home living and entertainment is hard work.

  2. I kinda liked A Safe Place, though I need to see it again (I watched it late at night, when I was tired, and it's already not the easiest film to follow). I could see how some people could find it pretentious and self-indulgent, but I often go for that type of thing (or rather, the type of thing that gets unfairly called those names).

I've been wanting to comment/contact you regarding Constant Viewer. I haven't read the ebook post yet. I had finally begun reading the entire series from the beginning, and made it up to about 1902 when the blog finished. Now I may pick up where I left off in the official book.

At some point I want to do a post about your venture, which is to me one of the most creative and exciting blogging endeavors I've encountered. Congratulations!
