Lost in the Movies: #WatchlistScreenCaps, 10/27 - 11/10

#WatchlistScreenCaps, 10/27 - 11/10

Here are the last ten films I watched (except my filmmaker documentary marathon, which was gathered on its own page), with a screen-captured image and caption. Linked titles lead to previous pieces on the given title from this blog. Visit my #WatchlistScreenCaps archive for images from everything I've watched since February.

I really like the screen grabs here Joel. "Ambersons" is one of those great movies you wish someone had saved the "preview cut" for modern viewers to judge for themselves which version was better. I've only seen the first "Evil Dead" movie--Bruce Campbell adds some good humor to that feature. The part where he says "Groovy!" is a cult classic moment!

These are some of my favorite screen-caps too, especially Kong peering in through the window and the hilariously preening Joseph Cotten double-view which tops the round-up. You should check out Evil Dead II - it's memorable on a whole different level than #1, pretty much like a live-action cartoon (although then again, a lot of it isn't actually live-action at all). Just wild.
